We are a global software company with almost 100 technology/data security experts developing software that protects companies from all over the world against data loss, misuse, and internal threats. We are present in 120 markets and partner with ESET and Microsoft, were featured in Gartner and Infotech analyst reports.
Currently, we are looking for an experienced UX designer who will join the product team led by Ján Lakatoš. You will shape the design of cloud enterprise security software based in Brno. Safetica competes with major brands like Forcepoint, Symantec, Trellix or Digital Guardian, and we aim to become another internationally recognized IT security company, following in the footsteps of companies like Avast or ESET.
Safetica offers a single unified product as an on-prem solution or a cloud SaaS, and our lean R&D department is made up of 5 teams. The teams are collocated and plan sprints together, with product and design standing in center to help define and specify priorities.
We consider user-friendliness a privilege and one of the advantages of our products. You will help the user experience and drive projects to make it more polished. Your main responsibility will be to complement and expand the existing framework of our product. You will have the opportunity to add key elements and ensure it becomes a modern solution in the market.
How will your job look like?
- You will become a part of the product management team and co-create the product design process in Safetica.
- Your tasks will involve leading and executing UX concepts and design strategy for our product. You will build and foster a design culture and make sure that every component in the product has its purpose within the long-term UX vision.
- You will closely collaborate with our product managers and R&D teams. You will work effectively with all peers to negotiate and influence our product design.
- You will design prototypes, wireframes and mockups for further discussion and validation before implementation.
- You will oversee UX and design integrity within agile software development.
- You will use Figma, Miro and Confluence. Our engineers use Azure DevOps.
What do we expect from you?
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a UX/UI Designer or product designer position, working on web-based applications.
- Understanding of customer needs, user experience and user interaction design. You should be familiar with the principles of user research. Experience with B2B products is a welcome advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively gather detailed feedback from our customers and actively listen to their concerns and experiences.
- Excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with colleagues across various departments to achieve common goals.
- Ability to maintain given tasks as an independent individual with a proactive approach when finding solutions.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when sharing ideas with peers and collaborating on execution.
